Kibirkstis dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Alytaus ' 24. Kibirkstis forced 31 Alytaus turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. Kibirkstis looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Alytaus ' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kibirkstis made 8 blocks. Center Gabija Galvanauskaite (194-2009) fired 26 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Japreece Dean (168-1996, college: UCLA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Justina Leskauskaite (178-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Saule Mikelionyte (183-2000) added 6 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
