Neptunas held LCC Klaipeda to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Neptunas forced 21 LCC Klaipeda turnovers and outrebounded them 45-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Neptunas players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Brigita Sinickaite (175-2001, agency: DC Sports) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU, agency: DC Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Neptunas players scored in double figures. Slovenian center Tjasa Turnsek (187-2007) answered with 9 points and forward Vilte Andrunaviciute (178-2004) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for LCC Klaipeda. LCC Klaipeda's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
