Born: July 18, 1979 in Pitman, N.J.
Full name: Joseph Steven Crispin
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outlook:
He's a competitor. We want him in the game because he's a guy who is not afraid to make the big play, but it's important for him to make those around him better as well. Great shooter and knows how to use teammates well. Not very athletic and not a good defender either. Plays smart and loves to have the ball in his hands, but not the best ball handler and doesn’t drive the lane well.
Personal: Crispin has an athletic heritage. His father played basketball and football at Villanova in the late '70s while his grandfather played baseball, basketball and football at Temple in the 50's. His brother Jon was a member of the Nittany Lion basketball squad as well.
