Outlook:
Andrius is a self motivated hard working player who is known as a team leader who leads by example. He prides himself in being a professional and always striving to improve his skills. Andrius’ most notable quality is his long distance shooting as you can see in his videos of his past games. He is very good at using stagger screens and not only getting open himself but also creating opportunities for the big man who sets the screen for him. Eventually teams decide to switch out on him which often leaves a mismatch in the post. He is very good at getting a big man open by setting good screens as it is hard for the defender to bump on the screen because that would leave him open in a screen the screener situation.
He loves a challenge on DEFENSE. He is used to guarding shooters which requires him to often be in a denial position, but he is also able to read the offense well and be ready to help. Andrius’ natural 1st position is the shooting guard (2) but he can also play the point guard in a back-up capacity. He has done so in previous years and against Euroleague teams such as Kaunas Zalgiris when he played in Siauliai BC Lithuania.
Andrius is the prototypical team player. A coach’s dream who will do what is asked of him with respect and a winning attitude. He has been known to knock down important shots in key moments of the game which is another thing that he always focuses on.
