Son of Nancy and Darryl Robinson ... His father, Darryl Robinson, played under Bobby Cremins at Appalachian State, and then starred in Israeli league playing for Beitar Tel Aviv.

Outlook:
Shawan is a talented combo guard confident at both positions. He is most comfortable at the point as he is deceptively quick and very capable of breaking down the defenses and finding open people. He has great range on his shot and shoots the three with great skill, which makes him extremely effective at the off-guard position. He was among the nation's top guards handling the basketball late in games and finished 4th in the nation in free-throw percentage (91.3%).
