Outlook:
A high level guard that can split time at both guard spots. A scoring PG he can find teamates and draws the double team often. A great on the ball defender he will make opposing guards work on every possession.
A backcourt player with great leadership qualities and the ability to dominate a game. Known as a deadly marksman behind the arc he also can take the ball to the basket and score. A fearless competitor he comes to play every practice and every game. Played the position of a scoring point in his college system but understands and switches easily into a role if need be. Moves well without the ball and can always find an open position to spot up for a 3pt shot. Has a great feel for the game and a keen sense of 'when' to deliver to teammates. Is a very capable rebounder and has a knack for always being in the right place at the right time. He can stuff the stat sheet and will generate great offensive numbers personally and for the team. One thing that he has also shown on the international market is that he is one of the best defenders in the game today. Darnell was not recruited by his college but by his junior year he was the best player and lead them to the Division II National Championship. And from his outstanding performance was taken to NBA LA Summer League with the San Antonio Spurs.
