Outlook:
A small forward with Vince Carter-like skills, Diond’re is an excited young player that has a great first step, the ability to score, plays from high above the rim, and can defend against the opponent’s top offensive player. With a determined work ethic, which lead to a 38% increase in his free-throw percentage in 2003 (84.1%), Diond’re continues to develop his game and is prepared to become an impact player at the professional level next season. He has the strength to play from the block, the speed and quickness to create scoring opportunities on the perimeter, and the athleticism to create fan excitement with his high-flying activity around the basket.
