Outlook:
Typical shooting guard, but not afraid to run on the basket.
Team player who handles ball with ease and has a sweet stroke from
downtown and and well developed mid-range game. Aigars is a
great defender, as he takes advantage of his fast legs and hands and
his body strength. Known as a very good defender, at any level. As a defender, he is far more effective, than his numbers show. Vitols doesn't attempt many shots but tends to make the ones he does take. With great court sense, he is a consistent high-percentage shooter and 3-pt shots are no exception. Very versalite player, actually can play 3 positions (PG, SG, SF). Can do it all on the court: can create his own shot, can drive and finish in traffic and shows good vision to dish the ball to the open man, can make three-point shots. Quick player and runs the floor very well.
