Albanian Superliga round 6 best performance: Desiree Ramos

American Guard Desiree Ramos (170-G-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Flamurtari Vlore, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while her team outclassed Studenti (#5, 1-4) with 34-point margin 75-41. Flamurtari is placed at 2nd position in Albanian Superliga. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Flamurtari will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Ramos had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. She turned to be Flamurtari's top player in her first season with the team. Former San Jose State University star has very solid stats this year. Ramos is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.2ppg), rebounds (9th best: 8.0rpg), assists (4th best: 5.6apg) and averages impressive 4.2spg and 51.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young international shooting guard Bernada Rreshpja (180-SG-2001) of Vllaznia Shkodra. Rreshpja had a very good evening with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Vllaznia lost that game 66-76 to slightly higher-ranked Partizani (#3, 3-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Vllaznia still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Rreshpja is one of the most experienced players at Vllaznia and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.4ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 7.2rpg and 4.2apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was Canadian guard Jenna Dick (173-G-2001) of Partizani Tirana (#3). Dick showcased her all-around game by recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Partizani, leading her team to a 76-66 win against #4 ranked Vllaznia. Partizani needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Dick has a very solid season. In 3 games in Albania she scored 13.3ppg.
