European Awards 2025 - Women Basketball
We bring you the 22nd annual edition of the Eurobasket.com European Awards for women's basketball! It was an exciting year highlighted by Belgium's historic victory at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025, ZVVZ USK Praha's triumph in the EuroLeague Women, and standout performances from both veterans and rising stars across the continent. As always, these awards recognize excellence in European women's basketball.

Note on Eligibility: The All-Europe selections include only players who competed in European leagues during the 2024-25 and early 2025-26 seasons (encompassing both European natives and import players). The All-Europeans categories are limited to players of European nationality, regardless of whether they played in Europe, the WNBA, or elsewhere in 2025.

All-Europe Awards

These awards honor the top performers in European club basketball, including imports who made significant impacts.

All-Europe Player of the Year: Belgium Emma Meesseman (192-C-1993) of Fenerbahce Opet (Belgium). Meesseman secured her third consecutive EuroLeague Women MVP award with dominant stats, including 16.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, leading in efficiency.

All-Europe Point Guard of the Year: Belgium Julie Allemand (173-PG-1996) of Fenerbahce Opet (Belgium). Allemand's playmaking shone with 6.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game in EuroLeague, contributing to high-level performances in club and international play.

All-Europe Shooting Guard of the Year: Latvia Kitija Laksa (183-F-1996) of Beretta Famila Schio (Latvia). Laksa's scoring prowess placed her among the top in points with 15.5 per game in EuroLeague.

All-Europe Small Forward of the Year: France Gabrielle Williams (180-F-1996) of Fenerbahce Opet (France/USA). Williams earned Defensive Player of the Year honors with 2.8 steals per game and versatile contributions across the board.

All-Europe Power Forward of the Year: France Iliana Rupert (194-C-2001) of CIMSA CBK Mersin (France). Rupert led in blocks (1.6 per game) and ranked high in efficiency in EuroLeague play.

All-Europe Center of the Year: Belgium Emma Meesseman (192-C-1993) of Fenerbahce Opet (Belgium)

All-Europe Coach of the Year: Natalia Hejkova of USK Praha (Slovakia). Hejkova guided Praha to the EuroLeague title, showcasing tactical mastery in a competitive field.

All-Europeans Shooting Guard of the Year: Italy Cecilia Zandalasini (188-F-1996) of Schio (Italy). The Italian sharpshooter delivered high-scoring performances at EuroBasket 2025, ranking among the top scorers and earning All-Star Five recognition, while returning to Schio to bolster their EuroLeague campaign.

All-Europeans Small Forward of the Year: France Gabrielle Williams (180-F-1996) of Fenerbahce (France). Williams brought elite versatility and defensive prowess to Fenerbahce, emerging as an MVP finalist in EuroLeague Women and providing impactful two-way play on the international stage.

All-Europeans Power Forward of the Year: Germany Satou Sabally (6'4''-F-1998) of Phoenix Mercury (Germany). Sabally thrived in her new home with Phoenix, earning All-Star starter honors and posting career-high scoring averages around 19 PPG, showcasing her dynamic scoring and rebounding in the WNBA.

All-Europeans Center of the Year: Belgium Emma Meesseman (192-C-1993) of Fenerbahce (Belgium). Meesseman's unparalleled efficiency and leadership from the post powered Belgium's historic title defense and positioned her for a potential third straight EuroLeague Women MVP crown.
