Albanian Superliga round 12 best performance: Bernada Rreshpja

International Shooting guard Bernada Rreshpja (180-SG-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for Vllaznia Shkodra, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 35 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed Studenti (#6, 2-8) with 30-point margin 73-43. Vllaznia maintains the 4th position in Albanian Superliga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Vllaznia will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. Rreshpja has many years of experience at Vllaznia, through which she has constantly improved. Former Southeastern University star has very solid stats this year. Rreshpja is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.4ppg), assists (6th best: 4.9apg) and averages impressive 4.7spg and 51.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Aniylah Bryant (170-G) of KB Teuta. Bryant had a very good evening with 34 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Teuta lost that game 78-92 to the higher-ranked Tirana (#1, 10-1). Teuta is still second from the bottom in the standings. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Teuta managed to get this year. Bryant is a newcomer at Teuta, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.7ppg (#1). She also registered 6.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center A'Lexxus Davis (188-C-1996) of league's top team SK Tirana. Davis scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Tirana, leading her team to a 92-78 easy win against the lower-ranked Teuta (#5, 3-8). Many experts and fans count Tirana as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Davis has a great season in Albania. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.1rpg (#1 in league). Davis attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on her way to pro basketball.
