Bernhard MaerzTeam North - Team South 151:136 This years Allstar Game was a spectacle in front of a sell out crowd at the Lionsdome in Traiskirchen. For the first time it featured a selection from the North against a team from the South. The fans saw numerous spectacular dunks and plays and cheered from the beginning to the end. Highlight of the night was the dunking contest, where in the final Jeff Parris (194-F-78, college: Cal.St.-Northridge) of Gmunden went against Mike Wallace (195-G/F-80, college: SW Missouri St.) from Mattersburg. Parris won because of he jumped over a person doing a 360 from a few feet out. Wallace would have won it with his dunk but he missed his. The 3-Point Contestfinal featured Andreas Worenz (197-F-82) of SUEBA St.P�lten and Arnas Kazlauskas (204-C/F-76, agent: Kairys Stepas) of WBC Wels. Kazlauskas won and showed an impressive Shooting touch scoring 43 threes in 2 minutes.
