St.Poelten outrebounded Oberwart 42-30 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Oberwart helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Richard Williams Jr (178-1987, college: SDSU) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Judah Brown (198-2002, college: USA) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Nate Pierre-Louis (193-1998, college: Temple) responded with 25 points and 6 assists. St.Poelten moved-up to eighth place. Defending champion Oberwart still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. The game in Traiskirchen was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (9-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Lions (3-9). Kapfenberg Bulls defeated Lions 83-69. Vienna will meet at home bottom-ranked Furstenfeld (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. UBSC Graz will play against Eisenstadt (#10) and hope to secure a win.
In the last two games of round 13 Gmunden lost to Klosterneuburg on the opponent's court 93-98. Eisenstadt unfortunately lost to Wels in a home game 68-78.
