Sheki - Guba 120-77

Sheki dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Guba's 30. They outrebounded Guba 59-31 including a 47-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sheki looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Guba's players. American guard Tyland Crawford (190-1998, college: NDC, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The other American import point guard Alex Caldwell (183-1999, college: UNC Asheville) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Crawford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Sheki players scored in double figures. Sheki's coach Bedri Meric felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Varid Aghasizada (175-2004) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Christian Koonce (196-2000, college: Bemidji St.) added 20 points in the effort for Guba.

Gence outrebounded Lankaran 45-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Gence looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Lankaran's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Gence made 8 blocks. American guard Delano Spencer (193-1994, college: Tennessee St.) notched 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Jacob Wiley (203-1998, college: Marian, IN, agency: Helping Ballers) supported him with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Coach Halil Atli's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 39 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) by Canadian guard Raheim Sullivan (185-1999, college: NJIT) did not help to save the game for Lankaran. Canadian forward Gatluak James (198, college: St.Francis X.) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts.
