Rytas dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Igokea's 24. Rytas forced 19 Igokea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Lithuanian forward Gabrielius Buivydas (195-2009) fired 13 points and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Benas Birzinis (196-2009) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rytas players scored in double figures. Montenegrin forward Djordje Djukanovic (197-2008) produced 7 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Ognjen Perisic (194-2008) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Bonn was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Belgian Tim Waerniers (203-2008) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Max Van De Keere (-2009) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Oostende players scored in double figures. Forward Maximilian Von Saldern (196-2009) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Bosnian guard Dzenis Hodovic (191-2008) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bonn. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Oldenburg's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.

Four Sabah players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Mustafa Bagadir (205-2008) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Riza Pasaoglu (-2008) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

At the losing side German-Cameroonian swingman Yohann Tchouaffe (193-2009) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Armin Pivac (205-2008) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

The standout Lithuanian forward Gabrielius Buivydas was voted the Player of the Year of the championship-winning BC Rytas Vilnius 2nd team from Lithuania. He was also chosen to the First Team. Buivydas helped Buivydas' team have an undefeated season as BC Rytas Vilnius 2nd team was not challenged in the league with a perfect 2 to 0 in the regular season. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Igokea 77 to 54 in the final. Buivydas averaged 17 points per game in the league. He led the Youth Basketball Champions League in assists per game with over 7. Buivydas' 27 points against Bonn were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. He won the Youth Basketball s League championship title in 2025.
Tim Waerniers, 17-year old Belgian power forward the Oostende from Belgium, was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year at the Youth Basketball Champions League. He received multiple other awards, was honored as the European Player of the Year, Forward of the Year and was named to the First Team. Waerniers helped Waerniers' team have an undefeated season as the Oostende was not challenged in the league with a perfect 2 to 0 in the regular season. He was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. With finesse and precision, Waerniers claimed the fifth position in rebounds per game, delivering a stellar over 11 rebounds per game average. Waerniers also recorded over 15 points per game that season in the league. His 18 points against Borac WWin Banja Luka Under 18 team were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. He played in the final of the Youth Basketball Champions League in 2025.
Emmanuel Agbason, 16-year old center Nakhchivan from Azerbaijan, earned the Center of the Year of Youth Basketball Champions League. He also earned a spot in the First Team. Agbason's court vision propelled him to the second spot in points per game an outstanding average of almost 22. He received Player of the Week award in the league. Agbason led the Youth Basketball Champions League in rebounds per game with almost 18. He has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 4 games on the year. Agbason's 28 points against Ludwigsburg were the most he scored in the 25 26 season.
Djordje Djukanovic, 17-year old Montenegrin forward BC Igokea Aleksandrovac Under 19 team from Bosnia, was voted to the First Team at the Youth Basketball Champions League. He helped Djukanovic's team have an undefeated season as BC Igokea Aleksandrovac Under 19 team was not challenged in the league with a perfect 2 to 0 in the regular season. Djukanovic's best performance made his team reach the final but they lost against the Rytas 54 to 77. He had almost 15 points and over 8 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Djukanovic's 19 points against Oostende were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Despite Djukanovic's young age he had an impressive career. He was selected to the Eurobasket All-FIBA Under 16 EuroBasket Division B First Team in 2024. Djukanovic was also selected as the Eurobasket All-FIBA Under 16 European Championship Honorable Mention back in 2023.
Maximilian Von Saldern, 16-year old forward RheinStars Koeln Under 19 team from Germany, was selected to the First Team of Youth Basketball Champions League. He averaged over 14 points and 6 rebounds per game in the league. Von Saldern's 21 points against Oostende were the most he scored in the 25 26 season.
