H.Be'er Sheva - Levski 100-67 Very expected game when Bulgarian Levski was crushed on the road by Israeli Hapoel Beer Sheva 100-67 on Thursday. Hapoel Beer Sheva made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Levski turnovers and outrebounded them 57-26 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hapoel Beer Sheva looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American point guard Russ Smith (183-1991, college: Louisville) fired 30 points and 4 assists for the winners. French-Guinean Tidjan Keita (207-1996) chipped in 7 points and 12 rebounds. American-Haitian center John Florveus (211-1990, college: Georgia, agency: BIG) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Alan Arnett (196-1994, college: GSW, agency: BIG) added 17 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Beer Sheva will meet Milenijum in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Levski will have a break next round. Hosts were defeated by Montenegrin Milenijum 66-58. Milenijum is looking forward to face Hapoel Beer Sheva at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bashkimi will play against Budivelnyk and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Peja - Budivelnyk 81-71 The game in Peja was also quite interesting. Ukrainian Budivelnyk played at the court of Kosovan Peja. Peja defeated Budivelnyk 81-71 on Friday. Peja will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Budivelnyk will play against Bashkimi in Prizren and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Levski - Beroe 85-88 Important game to mention about took place in Sofia. Beroe saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Levski 88-85 on Sunday evening. Beroe shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. American forward Cornelius Hudson (200-1993, college: Wake Forest) nailed 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Darius Hall (188, college: Bryant & Str OH) accounted for 20 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Alan Arnett (196-1994, college: GSW, agency: BIG) came up with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Haitian center John Florveus (211-1990, college: Georgia, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Levski in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Levski's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
