Balkan League round 2 best performance: Archie Goodwin (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Archie Goodwin (196-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Budivelnyk, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (22 points, three rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Bashkimi (#7, 0-3) with 27-point margin 89-62. Budivelnyk is placed at 4th position in Balkan League. Budivelnyk is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Goodwin turned to be Budivelnyk's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Kentucky star has very solid stats this year. Goodwin is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.5apg) and averages impressive 44.4% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Bogdan Cebalovic (202-F-1992) of Milenijum. Cebalovic had a very good evening with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Milenijum was edged by H.Be'er Sheva (2-0) 74-70. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Cebalovic is a newcomer at Milenijum, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Ben Moore (203-F-1995) of league's second-best H.Be'er Sheva. Moore scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of H.Be'er Sheva, leading his team to a 74-70 win against Milenijum (#6, 1-3). H.Be'er Sheva has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Moore also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Moore has a great season in Balkan League. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.5rpg (7th best).
