Very predictable result when second ranked Hannover Tigers (14-6) outscored at home 11th ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (4-16) 110-82 on Saturday. The game without a history. Hannover Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Herzoege Wolfenbuettel's 44. The best player for the winners was forward Benjamin Fumey (203-87, college: Valparaiso) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Rodriguez Sherman (188-87, college: Kent St.) chipped in 19 points. Hannover Tigers' coach Anton Mirolybov felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Demetrius Ward (190-90, college: W.Michigan) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian forward Ismar Seferagic (201-94) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hannover Tigers maintains second position in Group North with 14-6 record having just two points less than leader Hanau, which they share with Schwelm. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Hannover Tigers will face Spot Up Medien Baskets (#6) in Braunschweig in the next round. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel will play at home against RSV Eintracht (#5) and hope to win that game.
