The most exciting game of round 7 in the ProB took place in Magdeburg. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Magdeburg (3-5) to third ranked DRUFF! (6-2) 77-74 on Sunday evening. Lukas Meisner (201-95) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. point guard Martin Bogdanov (183-92) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Four DRUFF! players scored in double figures. DRUFF!'s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American center Scooter Gillette (206-90, college: Fair Dickinson) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American Joseph Buck (201-81, college: USC) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. DRUFF! moved-up to second place in Group North, which they share with Rostock EBC. Magdeburg lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Stahnsdorf. DRUFF! is looking forward to face Rostock EBC (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Magdeburg will play against Hertener Loewen (#12) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
