There was no surprise when 16th ranked Eskisehir Basket (2-13) was edged by ninth ranked Trabzonspor (7-8) in Edirne 83-80 on Saturday. Eskisehir Basket trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 25-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 80-83 at the end of the game. Trabzonspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for American-Congolese point guard Dwight Hardy (188-87, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 6 assists. Forward Nusret Yildirim (202-89) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Trabzonspor's coach Nenad Markovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
