Regular Season Round 21: Itzehoe - Seawolves 66-79

ProB top team - Seawolves (15-7) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Itzehoe (10-12) 79-66. Seawolves shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. DR Congolese-Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Tim Vogt (181-90) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jonathon Williams (198-90, college: Wagner) with 17 points and swingman Adrian Breitlauch (193-93) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Seawolves maintains first place in Group North with 15-7 record. Itzehoe at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. Seawolves will face SC Rist Wedel (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Itzehoe will play against Hertener Loewen (#12) and hope to win that game.
