Bottom-ranked Eskisehir Basket managed to get a fourth victory on Saturday night. This time they won against fourteenth-ranked TED Kolejliler in Edirne 97-85. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-85. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Matt Walsh (197-82, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Manny Harris (196-89, college: Michigan) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Eskisehir Basket players scored in double figures. Eskisehir Basket's coach Cem Akdag allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (210-87, college: Georgia Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) and American-FYR Macedonian point guard Marques Green (165-82, college: St.Bonaventure) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 assists. Eskisehir Basket maintains sixteenth position with 4-16 record. TED Kolejliler lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Tofas and Usak. Eskisehir Basket will meet higher ranked Usak (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. TED Kolejliler will play against Torku Konyaspor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
