Very predictable result when second ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars (16-5) outscored at home 9th ranked TV Langen (7-14) 112-74 on Sunday. Weissenhorn Youngstars dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to TV Langen's 26. Weissenhorn Youngstars forced 20 TV Langen turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Weissenhorn Youngstars especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Canadian guard Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Randal Holt (185-91, college: Kent St.) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Weissenhorn Youngstars players scored in double figures. American swingman Nick Freer (198-85, college: Grand Valley St.) produced 23 points and Indian-American point guard Anish Sharda (188-82, college: St.Mary's, KS) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Weissenhorn Youngstars have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group South with 16-5 record behind leader Iserlohn. TV Langen lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. Weissenhorn Youngstars will face White Wings (#5) in Hanau in the next round.
