Regular Season Round 2: Gotha - Hanau 85-65

Very expected game when White Wings (0-2) were smashed on the road by Oettinger Rockets Gotha (2-0) 85-65 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Oettinger Rockets Gotha. White Wings was better in fourth quarter 25-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Carlton Guyton (193-90, college: Kent St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Spanish Gerard Gomila (194-95) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Oettinger Rockets Gotha's coach Chris Ensminger used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Miles Jackson-Cartwright (190-92, college: Pennsylvania) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Luke Loucks (196-90, college: Florida St.) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for White Wings. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Oettinger Rockets Gotha will face Dragons Rhoendorf on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. White Wings will play against Finke Baskets and hope to win that game.
