An interesting game where Herzoege Wolfenbuettel beat host Rostock 85-78 on Saturday evening. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel forced 19 Rostock turnovers. Robin Amaize (188-94) scored 18 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Sid-Marlon Theis (204-93) chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Herzoege Wolfenbuettel players scored in double figures. American guard Matthew Hunter (196-90, college: Cent.Conn.St.) responded with 31 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized American Andres Murillo (201-90, college: Biola, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel will meet Oldenburg on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rostock will play against RSV Eintracht in Stahnsdorf and hope to win that game.
