Regular Season Round 2: CSU Sibiu - Steaua CSM 60-76

CSU Sibiu (1-1) recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Steaua CSM (1-1) 76-60. The game was mostly controlled by Steaua CSM. CSU Sibiu was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian point guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) scored 18 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Titus Nicoara (202-88, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Steaua CSM players scored in double figures. American guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St.) responded with 20 points and 4 steals and his fellow American import center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Steaua CSM will play against Phoenix Galati at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CSU Sibiu will play against U-Banca TR in Cluj to get more than just one victory in their record.
