Regular Season Round 4: Ezerunas-Karys - Vytis 47-88

Vytis can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Moletai, where they outplayed Ezerunas-Karys (0-4) 88-47. The game without a history. Vytis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ezerunas-Karys to just 7 points in first quarter. Vytis made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Forward Eimantas Narusis (200-86) replied with 10 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Evaldas Rastenis (184-89) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for Ezerunas-Karys. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vytis (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams. It was Ezerunas-Karys' fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Vytis will play against Lietkabelis-2 (#11) in Panevezys in the next round. Ezerunas-Karys will play on the road against Perlas-MRU in Vilnius and hopes to get finally their first victory.
