Regular Season Round 4: Baunach - Hanau 69-61

Baunach has registered their first victory this season after two consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat White Wings (0-4) 69-61 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Malik Mueller (189-94, college: Virginia Tech) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds and Andreas Obst (192-96, agency: Beo Basket) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side naturalized Eritrean forward Jonathan Mesghna (198-89, college: Mont.St.-Billings) responded with 21 points and American guard Miles Jackson-Cartwright (190-92, college: Pennsylvania) scored 12 points and 7 assists. Baunach (1-2) left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with Bayer Giants. It was White Wings' fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with four games lost. Baunach will face league's leader Oettinger Rockets Gotha at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. White Wings will play against Kirchheim Knights (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
