Regular Season Round 4: Art.Dragons - Recklinghausen 71-58

ProB top team - Artland Dragons (4-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Recklinghausen (0-4) in Quakenbrueck 71-58. Artland Dragons forced 20 Recklinghausen turnovers. Recklinghausen was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of American power forward Austin Bragg (206-91, college: W.Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Jacob Mampuya (200-94, college: High School) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Joseph Kennerly (204-84, college: Cent.Oklahoma) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and guard Christoph Bruns (180-87) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Artland Dragons have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in North with 4-0 record. Loser Recklinghausen still closes the standings with four games lost. Artland Dragons will face Itzehoe (#5) on the road in the next round. Recklinghausen will play against Oldenburg (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
