Regular Season Round 3: U-Banca TR - CSU Sibiu 77-74

Important game to mention about took place in Cluj. U-Banca TR (2-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging CSU Sibiu (1-2) 77-74 on Saturday evening. It looked good early as CSU Sibiu took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then U-Banca TR took control winning two of next three quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 3 points. It was a great evening for Serbian-Bosnian point guard Filip Adamovic (181-88, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Serbian center Ivan Zigeranovic (212-84, agency: BeoExcell) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four U-Banca TR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St.) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) scored 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. U-Banca TR will play against Oradea on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CSU Sibiu will play against Targu Mures and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
