The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated EnBW Ludwigsburg (3-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked EWE Baskets (3-1) 88-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of EnBW Ludwigsburg. Americans were the main players on the court. At the losing side Roderick Trice (185-84, college: S.Carolina) responded with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and point guard Mustafa Shakur (192-84, college: Arizona, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. EnBW Ludwigsburg's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. EWE Baskets have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated EnBW Ludwigsburg. EWE Baskets is looking forward to face Brose Baskets (#4) in Bamberg in the next round.
