Regular Season Round 4: Speyer - Dresden 62-77

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Titans (2-2) won against on the road bottom-ranked Speyer (0-4) 77-62 on Saturday. Titans looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Philipp Lieser (194-89, college: Cent.Washington) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Daniel Krause (195-88) who added 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Titans players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard DJ Woodmore (190-92, college: Va.Wesleyan) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Alexander Kuhn (198-92) scored 9 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Titans moved-up to sixth place in South, which they share with Noerdlingen and Leipzig. Loser Speyer still closes the standings with four games lost. Titans will face Licher Basket (#9) at home in the next round. Speyer will play against Saarlouis and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
