Regular Season Round 4: SISU - Svendborg 75-86

Bottom-ranked SISU (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 86-75 loss to fourth ranked Svendborg (3-1) in Copenhagen on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-75. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Spanish forward Damian Jimenez (198-86) who added 15 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard August Haas (180-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and American forward Jay Canty (198-91, college: Appalachian St.) scored 25 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Svendborg moved-up to third place, which they share with Naestved. Loser SISU still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Randers. Svendborg will meet at home league's leader Bakken in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against the league's second-placed Horsens IC (#2) in Horsens and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
