Regular Season Round 3: SISU - Lemvig 72-64

The biggest surprise of round 3 in Dameligaen took place in Copenhagen where host SISU (2-1) beat Lemvig (2-1) 72-64 on Sunday evening. Lemvig trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 18-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-72 at the end of the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Olivia Applewhite (183-91, college: Dayton) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 21 rebounds. Guard Brooke Lemar (168-91, college: N.Dakota St.) chipped in 30 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Gillian Abshire (175-93, college: Quinnipiac) who recorded 11 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kaitlyn Mathieu (188-92, college: William & Mary) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Lemvig will play next round against strong Horsholm trying to make it back to the top of the standings. SISU will try to continue on its current victory against Aabyhoj on the road.
