There was a minor upset when higher ranked SC Rist Wedel (2-3) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Hertener Loewen (2-3) 88-82 on Sunday. Hertener Loewen shot 21 for 31 from the free-throw line, while SC Rist Wedel only scored five points from the stripe. Hertener Loewen forced 19 SC Rist Wedel turnovers. SC Rist Wedel was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
