Regular Season Round 6: Stahnsdorf - Itzehoe 47-63

Everything could happen in Stahnsdorf at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Itzehoe and 10th ranked RSV Eintracht had identical 2-3 record. But RSV Eintracht was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Itzehoe 63-47 on Saturday night. It was a good game for American center Charles Bronson (208-83, college: Pikeville) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Courtney Belger (187-89, college: Quincy) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Dmitrij Hasenkampf (193-86) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American center Kenneth Cooper (208-87, college: UAB) added 6 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Itzehoe (3-3) moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser RSV Eintracht dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Itzehoe will face Oldenburg (#6) at home in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play against Recklinghausen and hope to win that game.
