The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Levski 2014's (1-3) road loss to fourth ranked Spartak Pleven (3-1) 70-76 on Saturday. Levski 2014 was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 26-16 charge of Spartak Pleven, which allowed them to win the game. At the losing side international Pavel Ivanov (200-88, agency: Interperformances) responded with 20 points and guard Aleksandar Yanev (203-98) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Spartak Pleven moved-up to second place, which they share with Cherno More and Balkan. Loser Levski 2014 dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Akademik PL and Chernomorets. Spartak Pleven will meet Academik Plovdiv (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Levski 2014 will play against Rilski and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
