No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (5-3) smashed on the road 10th ranked ChemCats Chemnitz (1-7) 79-48. The game without a history. BC Pharmaserv Marburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ChemCats Chemnitz to just 6 points in third quarter. It was a great shooting night for BC Pharmaserv Marburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. The winners were led by American guard Katie Yohn (182, college: Bradley) who scored that evening 21 points and international forward Finja Schaake (179-92) supported her with 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 17 points by Bosnian forward Lejla Bejtic (174-85) did not help to save the game for ChemCats Chemnitz. American forward Madi Buck (183, college: N.Dakota) added 6 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. ChemCats Chemnitz's coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
