Regular Season Round 7: Horsholm - SISU 77-66

Date: November 14, 2015
The game between third ranked Horsholm (4-2) and 5th ranked SISU (3-4) in Horsholm ended with biggest points difference. Horsholm beat guests from Copenhagen 77-66. The game was mostly controlled by Horsholm. SISU was better in second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a quality performance of Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Line Piechnik (171-90) helped adding 13 points and 4 assists. At the losing side American forward Olivia Applewhite (183-91, college: Dayton) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds (made all of her eleven free throws !!!) and the other American import guard Brooke Lemar (168-91, college: N.Dakota St.) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. SISU lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with four games lost. Horsholm will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play at home against Virum (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
