Eleventh-ranked BBC Bayreuth (3-6) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (8-1). The visitors from Ludwigsburg managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75. However their fans expected much easier game. BBC Bayreuth was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 22-17 charge of EnBW Ludwigsburg, which allowed them to win the game. They used an opportunity after ALBA lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. BBC Bayreuth at the other side keeps the eleventh place with six games lost.
