Regular Season Round 9: Oldenburg - Stahnsdorf 62-61

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Oldenburg and 9th ranked RSV Eintracht had identical 4-4 record. This time Oldenburg used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Stahnsdorf 62-61 on Sunday night. It was a good game for naturalized FYR Macedonian point guard Armin Musovic (194-96) who saved his team from a defeat with 20 points. American guard Chris Gorman (180-93, college: Vanguard) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American center Kenneth Cooper (208-87, college: UAB) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and Joey Ney (198-92) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Oldenburg (5-4) moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser RSV Eintracht dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Oldenburg will face SC Rist Wedel (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RSV Eintracht will play against Artland Dragons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
