Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Rostock and 5th ranked Itzehoe had identical 5-4 record. This time Rostock used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Itzehoe 92-80 on Sunday night. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rostock (6-4) moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Itzehoe dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Rostock will face Recklinghausen (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Itzehoe will play against SC Rist Wedel (#11) and hope to win that game.
