Regular Season Round 11: Licher Baeren - Ehingen 66-77

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (9-2) won against on the road 10th ranked Licher Basket (4-7) 77-66 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Christopher Wolf (198-95) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and center Marian Schick (204-86) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ehingen/Urspringschule keeps a position of South leader, which they share with Karlsruhe. Loser Licher Basket dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost. Ehingen/Urspringschule will face Giants (#6) in Noerdlingen in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Licher Basket will play on the road against Fraport Skyliners II in Frankfurt and hope to win that game.
