Fourth ranked Kirchheim Knights (9-4) crushed at home 12th ranked Finke Baskets (5-8) by 32 points 95-63, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Kirchheim Knights shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Forward Tim Koch (196-89) fired 22 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. American point guard Richard Williams (177-87, college: San Diego St.) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Five Kirchheim Knights players scored in double figures. Power forward Ivan Buntic (207-91) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Chase Adams (177-88, college: Pittsburgh) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kirchheim Knights moved-up to third place. Finke Baskets lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with ETB Wohnbau and Hanau. Kirchheim Knights will meet Gladiators (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Finke Baskets will play against BV Chemnitz 99 and hope to secure a win.
