There was no surprise in Utena where 10th ranked Dzukija (1-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Juventus (8-6) 71-66. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Dzukija was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Juventus, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots). Naturalized Swiss guard Rolandas Alijevas (192-85, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American forward Jeff Robinson (198-88, college: Seton Hall) replied with 19 points and Polish center Adam Lapeta (217-87, agency: Alti Sport) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Dzukija.
