Regular Season Round 12: Ludwigsburg - Telekom Bsk 85-77

Date: December 12, 2015
Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Telekom Baskets (5-7) lost on the road to third ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (9-2) 85-77 on Saturday. Telekom Baskets trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 29-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-85 at the end of the game. EnBW Ludwigsburg dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Telekom Baskets' 26. It was a good game for American Roderick Trice (185-84, college: S.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import point guard Mustafa Shakur (192-84, college: Arizona, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. EnBW Ludwigsburg's coach John Patrick used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American Aaron White (206-92, college: Iowa) replied with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian forward Tadas Klimavicius (204-82) added 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Telekom Baskets. EnBW Ludwigsburg moved-up to second place, which they share with s.Oliver Baskets. Telekom Baskets lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. EnBW Ludwigsburg will face Bayern Muenchen (#5) on the road in the next round. Telekom Baskets will play against Braunschweig (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
