Regular Season Round 15: Dzukija - Lietuvos rytas 82-91

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Lietuvos rytas (10-2) beat bottom-ranked Dzukija (1-11) in Alytus 91-82. It looked good early as Dzukija took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lietuvos rytas took control winning two of next three quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 9 points. They made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Dzukija helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international Adas Juskevicius (194-89) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Lietuvos rytas' next round opponent will be Lietkabelis (#9) in Panevezys and are hoping to win another game.
