Regular Season Round 12: Bakken - Naestved 84-65

The game between Top Four teams took place in Aarhus. Second ranked host Bakken (7-2) smashed one of their biggest challengers Naestved (7-3) 84-65. Naestved was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 48-27 second half run of Bakken. They also forced 21 Naestved turnovers. The winners were led by the former international guard Darko Jukic (199-90, agency: Two Points) who scored that evening 15 points and 6 rebounds and American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) supported him with 16 points. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by American guard Caleb Walker (193-89, college: Nebraska) did not help to save the game for Naestved. International forward Alexander Bak (193-91) added 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken maintains second position with 7-2 record having eight points less than leader Horsens IC. Naestved at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Bakken will play against league's leader Horsens IC in Horsens in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play on the road against Stevnsgade and hopes to get back on the winning track.
