Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (2-16) was outscored at home by sixth ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (10-7) 81-58. MLP Academics Heidelberg players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Devin White (203-88, college: SUNO) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Center Kristian Kuhn (208-87, college: N.Arizona) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Justin Smith (201-87, college: Hawaii-Hilo) who recorded 10 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Sterling Carter (183-90, college: Purdue) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MLP Academics Heidelberg maintains sixth position with 10-7 record. Newly promoted Dragons Rhoendorf stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. MLP Academics Heidelberg's next round opponent will be Nuernberg (#10) in Nurnberg. Dragons Rhoendorf will play on the road against Baunach (#13) and hope to win that game.
