Regular Season Round 16: Ehingen - Licher Baeren 91-71

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule as it allowed them to take a leadership position in South. Ehingen/Urspringschule smashed 10th ranked Licher Basket in Allmendingen 91-71. Ehingen/Urspringschule looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Joel-Sadu Aminu (193-97) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds. Christopher Wolf (198-95) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. American power forward Lamar Mallory (198-90, college: Glenville St., agency: Warren Sports International) replied with 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Konstantin Kovalev (203-95) added 12 points in the effort for Licher Basket. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ehingen/Urspringschule have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Karlsruhe. Licher Basket at the other side keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Saarlouis. Licher Basket will play next round against Weissenhorn Youngstars trying to get back on the winning streak. Ehingen/Urspringschule will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Wuerzburg at home.
